Jeannie's 3rd Do-Over Challenge

Good day to you.  Thanks for stopping by.  I am participating in the 3rd Do-Over Challenge where I was sent a piece of jewelry that was made when Jeannie first started making jewelry and no longer wants to sell.

I was sent the following necklace made of blue topaz chips, puffed glass faceted discs and this super glass heart.

I was undecided about what to add to the heart, so I took the following pictures to try and help me out.

I hope I did justice to the original necklace.  I kept the blue topaz chips, the heart, and the original hook and eye clasp and added the blue rounds from the first picture above and the memory wire from the third picture above.

The original hook and eye clasp.

I added a memory wire circle around the heart with the blue rounds.  I also added blue round links of 3-5 beads in the necklace itself to replace the puffed disks that I took out.

Thanks for stopping by.

  6. i like what you did with the necklace.

  7. I love the memory wire detail that you added around the heart pendant~!

Your challenge piece and mine had a similar construction-- and I know what you mean about wanting to do justice to the original. I hope I did to mine-- you certainly did justice to yours! <3

  8. Great job with your redesign - I love this color blue and hearts, and the combination with the memory wire circle is perfect. Beautiful job! :)

  9. The beaded circle around the heart is exactly what this necklace need to make that light colored glass a focal point. Great job!
