The participants purchased beads kits from Lisa and were to make something that represented a summer carnival to them.
Here are the beads that I received:
Strands of crystal and cultured seglass.
It was difficult to decide what to make but the first item was a blue and white seaglass necklace with gold sparkly seed beads and clear crystals. To me the necklace just sparkles just like the lights on the midway or the ferris wheel.
Next up is a cultured seaglass rondell necklace that reminds be of the polka-dotted clown outfits.
I dug into the destash that I got from Lisa and found some red and green rondells to use along with the blue and color-blocked the necklace.
The earrings I made to match are a little different style than I usually make, kind of swingy like the buckets on the ferris wheel.

lovely set
ReplyDeleteThe necklace with all the colorful rondelles is so pretty, It's a beautiful summer set
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, I really love your design with the sections of the sea glass rondelles in multiple colors and the delightful earrings you made to go with it! I've bought bunches of these rondelles from Lisa Lodge, and love using them. If I ever slow down from using them in all sorts of things and have some left over, I may have to try something similar! Love this look!
ReplyDeleteYour pieces are beautiful. I especially like the color blocked necklace!
ReplyDeleteOoh - Carolyn! I love the rondelle necklace and earrings. The addition of the green is just perfect. Thanks for being in the hop!
ReplyDeleteYour pieces are all so beautiful! I love how I can see the carnival lights, the rides and even the clowns in your work! Those earrings are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your pieces but the one with the rondelles is my favorite. The colors are so happy!
ReplyDeleteLove the addition of the detashed rondells. It is great to have a useable stash of seaglass.
