My name is Carolyn and I have joined Vicki of 2 Bags Full and 595 other bloggers in this yearly event that Vicki has started as a way to "grow your blog". Please join the rest of us as we visit each other's blogs and find new blogs to follow thus "growing our blogs".
Again, my name is Carolyn and I live in the Pacific Northwest where I reside with my chow mix dog Hank. We live in a nice residential area where we take lots of walks even in the rain and snow.
I blog because I design and make jewelry and the blogging allows me to enter blog challenges where we receive beads and design jewelry from the beads received along with beads from our own stash.
I try to blog at least once a week but it has been hard going as the computer is in one room of the house and by the time I relax enough to want to blog it is time for bed. I got a tablet for Christmas and I haven't figured out how to use Blogger on it. Any suggestions are welcome.
I will be having a giveaway along with some of the other participants on February 15th. I haven't made a final decision on what it will be. Please leave your name and email address along with whether you would like to win beads or a pair of earrings.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you consider following my blog.
Carolyn

bestest weekend wishes

I have noticed that while you can blog on tablets, most people can't post pictures. That might help, if you don't mind a 2 step process. (do post whenever, where ever and then later insert the pictures when you have time at your computer)
ReplyDeleteI love both beads and earrings, so you can surprise me =)
Hi Carolyn,

Hello nice to meet you :D
ReplyDeleteYou have some beautiful jewelry you have made. I am not a jewelry maker. I saw your color palette and thought QUILT. That's one of my passions. It's amazing how items transfer from craft to craft. Yes, we often change our colors as the process evolves, too. You live in a beautiful part of the country. I've only been to that part twice. I now live in OK where it is hot, hot, hot in the summer. We've had one ice storm and weird weather so far this year. It was in the 60's yesterday and supposed to have a high of 20 tomorrow. I am very glad that I found your blog. You are generous to think about parting with beads or even making earrings for someone. Good luck growing your blog.
ReplyDeleteIs nice to meet you Carolyn.....please stop by and visit me too!! If I am lucky enough in the girveaway; you choose the gift. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed seeing your challenge entries. I love participating in challenges too.
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn. I also make jewelry. I am looking forward to following your blog and seeing your creations.

Hi Carolyn. I"m visiting from Grow Your Blog. Your jewellery looks very interesting. You're a very clever lady.
ReplyDeleteHello From Mid-Michigan Carolyn!! I'm a new follower who loves the look of beads. I think there is something in the beauty of them. Especially if they are Acorns &/or Oak Leaves!! My dreams to collect enough of them for a charm bracelet in memory of someone who was very close to me. I'm a nature girl at heart who loves greens, blues & browns. Thank You for your generous offer and enjoy the rest of the GYB.
ReplyDeleteIn Kind Regards,
Tricia

ReplyDeleteYou and I both! I have only today made my decision on what I am going to gift ... just need to upload the photos! Can I enter yours please? I don't know whether earrings or beads. Your into the forest earrings are beautiful. On the other hand ... since I do make my own jewellery (although don't have enough occasions to glam up). So if I do win ... however time permits.
