"Into the Forest" blog hop reveal

Today is the reveal day for the "Into the Forest" blog hop sponsored by Lisa Lodge of A Grateful Artist blog.  I got a kit from Lisa that included

faceted rounds, bicones, seed beads, nuggets and a pendant.

It took a little thought about how to proceed and I made the following:

I used the green bicones, faceted peridot rounds and the seed beads.  I had a brass leaf that I used as a backing for the pendant.  I made matching earrings

Sorry for the picture quality but it is raining outside and cannot get a good picture.

  17. A very pretty necklace. I love the little pop of color in the necklace, like you'd find in the forest peeking out from under the leaves. And I like the leaf backing the pendant.

  19. Hi Carolyn! I just wanted to stop by and answer your question about the stone in my necklace! It's a lace agate, but it was an inexpensive piece, a practice stone that I purchased for about $6 off of etsy. Thank for stopping by and I enjoyed visiting your little space as well, your necklace and earring set is lovely!
