faceted rounds, bicones, seed beads, nuggets and a pendant.
It took a little thought about how to proceed and I made the following:
I used the green bicones, faceted peridot rounds and the seed beads. I had a brass leaf that I used as a backing for the pendant. I made matching earrings
Sorry for the picture quality but it is raining outside and cannot get a good picture.

What a beautiful necklace and earrings set - the red seed beads gives just the right amount of 'pop' - great job!
ReplyDeleteLovely and festive design, Carolyn... I love the red highlights and the stacked pendants!
ReplyDeleteThe addition of the brass leaves make this design! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that this would be a challenging color combo but you nailed it. Great job.
ReplyDeleteLike how you combined elements for the pendant. Lovely job.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your pieces. I would wear them a lot. The leaves were an excellent choice.
ReplyDeleteLove the leaves, I am a leafy type of person...LOL Your necklace and earrings are lovely... :-)
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are perfect with the green. What a lovely set!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty necklace and earrings set.
ReplyDeleteA very sweet♥ combination your necklace and earrings! (-:
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, love the tiny pops of red!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set, Carolyn! I love how you used the Tree Wings Studio pendant on top of the wire leaf. I would wear this set with pride. Thanks for being in the hop!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set. I like the way you used the leaf pendant to support the focal piece.
ReplyDeleteAwesome necklace and earrings, the colors are perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful set and I love the leaves you've added. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI love the jewelry ensemble you've created! Using the brass leaf behind the focal is ingenious. Beautiful how you also used the brass leaves in the earrings too! Elegant, smart, and very pretty! I'd wear your jewelry in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty necklace. I love the little pop of color in the necklace, like you'd find in the forest peeking out from under the leaves. And I like the leaf backing the pendant.
ReplyDeleteI added you in for the GYB party-

Hi Carolyn! I just wanted to stop by and answer your question about the stone in my necklace! It's a lace agate, but it was an inexpensive piece, a practice stone that I purchased for about $6 off of etsy. Thank for stopping by and I enjoyed visiting your little space as well, your necklace and earring set is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love me some simplicity. Exactly what Molly says. The red pops the piece.
ReplyDeleteLovely work! Enjoy the party!
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I missed this the first time round, but love your set. It evokes the feeling of the forest perfectly! Christie
