Here are pictures of the memory wire bracelet I made. I will be adding some gold hearts to the end loops for a bit of a dangle. |
I am sending the top bracelet and keeping the smaller
one for myself (as I really made it small) although it would make a nice mother/daughter set. I wonder if I can do that? |

I think the idea of mother/daughter bracelets is a wonderful one! I think I would give it a try!
ReplyDeleteI like the blue stones here and the brass clasps. I made one with memory wire too, but I'm new to that. I'll have to study yours and see how you worked the clasps in! :-) Looks a bit tricky to me!
Beautiful! I love the memory wire...it's a great way to solve the size dilemma!
ReplyDeletelove the wire wrap design!!
ReplyDeleteI love the bracelets you made. I also like the idea of a mother/daughter set. Memory wire is a wonderful component that is way under utilized, in my opinion. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a mother / daughter set too - it's such a wonderful one, give it a try. Lovely bracelets!
ReplyDeleteI think a mother-daughter set would be AWESOME! Why didn't I think of that?
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, I think if you include a note about this being a mother/daughter set, that they will find the right person to give it to. Alternatively, you could keep it for yourself, and then remember this hop, the cause, and the family you supported each time you wear it! Either way, it's awesome you made two bracelets, and they are both beautiful! Thank you so much for joining us on this hop!
ReplyDeleteoh, i love the idea of a mother/daughter bracelet! my daughter is really into that and has forced me to be too and now i think it is really sweet! i really love your blend of blues and the casual style of these...very pretty! thank you for joining the hop!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and the thought of Mother and Daughter bracelets is a wonderful idea I would give it a try also.

Very cool design to make it a double strand with memory wire! I agree with sending it as a "mother and daughter" set - such a sweet idea!
ReplyDeleteHi, Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely, and I think a mother/daughter set is a great idea. I made companion bracelets, too!
What a wonderful gift! I am sure they will love it ;)
ReplyDeleteYour bracelets are so sweet. I know that whoever receives them will wear them often! Well done.
ReplyDeleteNice work :) I think the gold hearts will be a perfect little touch!
ReplyDeleteAs for the bracelet set... hmm...You could add a note to make sure it's sent to a woman with a daughter who's ill... but it's best to email them and ask :) There's a link on their page where you sign up and it supplies an email address.
Wow, I think a mother/daughter set is such a wonderful idea! Both bracelets are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteVery nice bracelets - love the combination of blue tones.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these designs are very nice - love the various colors of blue and the textures! I think the mother/daughter idea is wonderful. You could always email them to ask if it's something you could do. I think it's very thoughtful!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, beautiful bracelets! The different blues together are lovely. And I'd def send both bracelets along as a mother/daughter pair!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bracelets! I love the mother/daughter idea!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely combo! Beautiful!
